I have just had an amazing few days away with my friend Pam (yet another one!).  I drove us down to Hanmer Springs for a few days shopping and relaxing.

The weather was very changeable but we didn't care we laughed and shopped and just enjoyed ourselves.  I had to tell her just before we left town.  She seemed to struggle with the whole thing. 

Strangely I seem to be coping better than anyone else.  I am not at all fazed by it.  Yes nervous about the surgery and the hospital stay but that is all really.  The sooner it is all over and done with the better. Have the doctors appointment tomorrow and then on to the surgeon (it is a woman I am told).

Have been hunting for some nice pjs to wear in hospital.  Gosh they are hard to find at the moment.
